we, Chris and Draga, are the founders of liska wine along with our loyal german shepherd rescue, liska.
that is right, liska dog came first!
after following harvest aroud the world for a short while and falling in love with german riesling and other cooler variety wines, we settled in the willamette valley.
We decided to start this wine label at the same time as the arrival of our daughter, so our workload doubled! however, we couldn’t be happier to start this journey as a family of three (plus Liska dog, of course).

with us meeting at UC davis while studying viticulture and enology. Was Chris Draga’s TA? maybe.. ;)

we graduated and got to travel (and work) through Europe and Australia together. What better way to really get to know each other than traveling on a budget?

we decided that the Pacific Northwest is where we want to call home. Three years later, our family grew to three people plus one rescue dog. We get to live in paradise and are beyond lucky to share our craft with the world.
